A: Yes and no. While we are not a tax prep service, we do assist with organizing your financial documents and preparing them for tax season. While we don’t provide tax filing services directly, we can work with your accountant or tax preparer to ensure everything is in order.

We also understand that business is fluid and needs may change over time, so we’re happy to discuss terms that work best for you and can often negotiate options if your original agreement can no longer be fulfilled by either party.

Q: Will I have access to my financial records at all times?

A: Yes, you will have access to your financial records whenever you need them. We provide regular updates and a cloud-based online access for you to review your records and reports. You can also download your documents at any time to your device.

Q: What information do you need from me to start?

A: We’ll need access to your financial documents, such as bank statements, invoices, and receipts. Your assigned bookkeeper will provide you with a comprehensive list of the materials needed for your initial consultation. If both parties determine that our partnership is the next best step then we’ll provide you with a checklist of required information to ensure a smooth onboarding process for us to manage your books on your chosen start date.

Q: Do you offer virtual bookkeeping services?

A: Yes, in fact we prefer operating through virtual bookkeeping services. Not only does this mean that we can handle your financial records remotely, but it's a safer process for protecting your sensitive information. Meeting at a coffee shop or other public space can be dangerous for discussing confidential information and public Wi-Fi is never the best option for data retrieval and processing. Virtual bookkeeping is also convenient for businesses that prefer not to manage in-person meetings and saves you travel time from your office to ours.
